With a Sad Heart
Today is not the "highest time for me" as I face some huge struggles with family issues. I have a sad heart.
One family is facing the extradition of an Uncle and a Brother. This brother and uncle will likely go back to China soon - where he could be jailed again, which would be good, or on the other hand executed. I will share some of this story later as details come available.
The second family faces the product of violence and anger - fuelled by alcohol. It is the typical family violence. Isn't that sad to say it that way -"typical"? There has been emotional abuse for years. There has been some physical violence but that is small compared to the threats and anger expressions laid clearly on the table in heated arguments.
If there ever was a week that Peace is needed it is this one. I am overwhelmed with some of the accounts that come my way.
I offer these verses today... all the same but different translations... they have been a great blessing to me.

- Phil 4:77 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.(KJV)
- Phil 4:77 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.(NIV)
- Phil 4:77 If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.(TLB)
